Paneer Roll
Ingredients:
- One paneer bar (10cm x 5cm x 5cm),
- 50 gms. spinach leaves,
- 1 boiled potato,
- 1 beaten egg,
- One spoon flour,
- Bread Crumbs,
- Butter,
- Cooking oil,
- Salt to taste,
- Powdered black pepper,
- 2 cloves of garlic (chopped),
- 1 chopped onion.
Method :-
To make the coverings - Smash the boiled potato and add salt and black pepper to it. Mix well and stir it in a pre-heated pan with a little butter. Keep it aside. Boil the spinach leaves and crush them to a paste. Add the chopped onion and garlic into it. Also add salt. Stir this mixture in a pan with a little oil. And then keep it aside.
Now, take a polythene sheet and spread over it the spinach paste uniformly. Roll the paneer bar on it and cover it completely. Next, spread the smashed potato on the polythene sheet. Roll the paneer on it and cover with potato. Now, dip the bar into the beaten egg and the flour in that sequence. Again dip the bar into the beaten egg and roll it on the bread crumbs. Deep fry the bar until golden brown. Slice it and serve hot with any sauce.
