   Momo

Ingredients

  • 250 grams mutton keema (chopped mutton),
  • 1 big onion,
  • 1 teaspoon ginger paste,
  • 1 teaspoon garlic paste,
  • Salt to taste,
  • Little black pepper,
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar,
  • 1 cup flour.

Method :-

Marinate the keema in a  bowl with the ginger, garlic, onion, salt, black pepper and vinegar. Allow it to stand for at least 5 hours. You may keep this in a refrigerator.

Make a dough with the flour adding salt and water to it. Then divide the dough into small balls. Spread each ball evenly to form flat circular shape. Fill into it the marinated keema. Close the whole thing by finger-folding. It looks like a half moon. Now, place all the momos (keema with flour covering) on a strained container and cook it in steam for about 10 minutes. The flour and the mutton becomes tender. Serve it steaming with mutton soup and tomato hot 'n' sweet sauce. This preparation can be served as a snack as well as in dinner.
