  Chicken Butter Masala

Ingredients:

  • Chicken pieces - 3 lb.
  • Garlic - 1 tsp
  • green chili chopped - 4
  • Grated ginger - 1 tsp
  • Chopped onions - 3
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  • Cardamom pods - 1 tsp
  • Cinnamon - 1 stick
  • Cloves - 1 tsp
  • Black pepper - 1 tsp
  • Chopped tomatoes - 2 cups
  • Turmeric - 1 tsp

Method :-

Roast in a little butter cardamom, cumin, cloves, cinnamon and black pepper and crush it to powder. Fry onion, green chilies and ginger until brown in a little butter. Heat the remaining butter in a large pan. Roast chicken pieces in it till light brown. Add in the above masala, salt, onion mixture and tomatoes. Over and cook on a low heat till chicken turns tender and gravy is thick.
