Two Travelers and a Bear
There were two friends who set out on a tour. While passing through a forest suddenly a bear came in front of them. . Seeing the bear one of them got very frightened and managed to climb up a tall tree without thinking of his friend. But the other friend didnot know how to climb a tree and could find no other way than to lie down on the ground. Lying down on the ground he pretended to be a dead man because he had heard that bears do not touch a dead man.
The bear then came close to the man, took his nose near the face and ear of the man and thought him to be a dead man and went away slowly. After the bear had gone the man on the tree came down and enquired as to what the bear told in his friend's ear. The friend replied that the bear advised him never to trust one who deserts a friend in danger.
The story teaches that a friend in need is a friend indeed.
