A Liar's Fate
There was a cowboy who used to take his cows out in the fields outside the village for grazing. There was a forest near the fields. The boy hit upon a plan to play fun with the villagers. So, one day he raised an alarm that a tiger has attacked his herd of cows and shouted for help. The villagers rushed to his rescue only to find that the boy was befooling them. After a few days he did the same thing and laughed at the villagers when they came for his help. He repeated this several times only to create annoyance of the villagers. Thereafter, one day when a tiger really attacked the herd, he desperately shouted for help. But the villagers did not take it seriously and thought that the boy was playing mischief. None of the villagers came for his help this time and the boy was killed by the tiger.
The story teaches us that nobody believes a liar.
