The Crow and the Pitcher

Once a thirsty crow saw a pitcher and advanced towards it, hoping to drink some water. It put its beak into the pitcher. But alas!  The water level in the pitcher was very low and unreachable to the crow. As such it could not reach the water. Its thirst was very intense. So it tried to incline the pitcher so that it could reach the  water. But it  was not strong enough to do so. It  saw some pebbles lying nearby. Then suddenly an idea flashed in its mind. It took the pebbles in its beak and dropped them one by one inside the pitcher. The pebbles so dropped raised the water level enabling the crow to reach the water. Then the crow easily drank enough water and quenched its thirst.
          

               Moral : Where there is a will, there is a way.
